Job Description


Accurate booking of client accounts into the Reinsurance system. Monitoring of overdue client accounts and following up with brokers on overdue items. Updating cash books, reconciliation and allocation of cash received / paid. Monitoring of reinsurance premium receivable and following up with brokers on overdue items. Arranging broker payments requests. Performance of additional ad-hoc duties as and when required. Ensuring compliance with established internal controls and procedures. Liaising with various groups both within and outside of the organization, including underwriting and brokers Good knowledge of Reinsurance contract - Facultative & Treaty. Ensure timely resolution of open queries. Maintain contact with Client at the process owner level on a daily basis to review progress Knowledge of Reinsurance business 4+ Years of experience in reinsurance accounting and operations Exposure to US market Strong people management and leadership skills Capability to communicate with large teams Appreciation of the domain needs of the process and its key drivers Reasonable level of business perspective regarding the internal functioning of BPO and Supplier\'s organization Good networking capability and client facing skills Knowledge of Financial Reporting and Audited GAAP/STAT financial statements Understanding of US Insurance market Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Tools such as One Stream, Anaplan, Sun GL etc.
