Job Summary: This position requires in depth knowledge of accounting cycle, general ledger reconciliation, manual journal entry preparation, daily balancing & reporting. The role require good knowledge of MS excel & analytical skills. Key Accountabilities: Key Non-Bureau Activities: . Reconciliation of the Inwards Premium Cash Log with broker statements and query management. . Posting of cash to ledger for Inwards Premium, Claims Payments and Ceded Re Premium. . Monitoring and reporting of unallocated cash and query management. . Review and approval of transactions to be future settled within Adept. Key Bureau Activities: . Allocation of messages into Eclipse and the reconciliation of values paid to booked premium. . Query management with Underwriting Operations and brokers for missing documentation / information but not chasing of debt Credit Control activities . Utilising the workflow tool, supporting the Credit Control team with the monitoring, management and escalation of aged debt, if necessary.
