Job Description
Maestro || MedWeb || Developer Skills Classic ASP (Active Server Pages): Deep understanding of Classic ASP, knowledge of ASP syntax, server-side scripting, client-side scripting (JavaScript/VBScript), and handling form submissions. SQL and Database Management : Proficiency in SQL is crucial as the application\'s backend relies on Microsoft SQL Server. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, manage the database schema, and understand how to interact with the database from Classic ASP code. Web Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript): Strong foundation in web development is necessary to work with the frontend of the application. Knowledge of HTML for creating web pages, CSS for styling, and JavaScript for client-side interactivity will be vital. Debugging and Troubleshooting : Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting, including the ability to identify and resolve errors, performance bottlenecks, and unexpected behavior. Version Control: Familiarity with Git to manage code changes and collaborating with other developers effectively. Client is using Git for version control. Security Best Practices: Good understanding of security best practices for Classic ASP, along with knowledge of how to mitigate common risks like SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS)
