DevOps Engineer (Minimum Three years of total experience):


EXL Digital is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer dedicated to advancing operational excellence through automation and optimized engineering processes. In this role, you will ensure the seamless integration of development and operational processes, enabling highly available, scalable, and secure systems. Collaborating with application development teams, you will help define infrastructure requirements and foster efficient, reliable software lifecycle management. Your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure management will be pivotal in achieving our objectives.


As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will ...

Design and build engineering platforms and tools to streamline application development, deployment, and operations. Develop automation for routine development and operational tasks to enhance productivity and reduce manual intervention. Monitor system performance and availability, proactively addressing any issues. Work closely with software and data engineering teams to implement operationally sustainable solutions to engineering challenges. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Over 3 years of professional experience in engineering roles. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, RDS. Proficient in automation and infrastructure management using Terraform. Experience in operational roles (e.g., Cloud Operations, Site Reliability, DevOps). Proficiency in GitOps-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket Pipeline, etc) Skilled in logging and observability technologies Expertise in public cloud environments (AWS). Solid background in maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Strong communication, consultation, analytical and leadership skills Experience working in Agile methodologies (SCRUM) environment and familiar with iterative development cycles Ability to work with various stakeholders across various geographies Excellent Team player as well as an Individual Contributor if required Master's or bachelor's degree, preferably from an Engineering Background
