Basic Function

• Creation of BRD, Epics, tasks, Requirements definition and translation to Jira
• Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing
• Clears project obstacles and impediments that could slow down the team’s progress

• Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end-users
• Collaborates with clients/stakeholders to determine project scope and vision
• Conducts meetings to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
• Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
• Research, reviews, and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
• Move seamlessly between business problems, SQL coding and reporting
• Readiness to work in all stages of BI Project that includes Logical and physical design, implementation, testing and deployment

Essential Functions

• Works with the stake holders to fully understand the business problem and how to deliver relevant reports that lead to the right insights
• Partner with the operations, technology and business teams to understand requirements and convert them to insightful reports
• Manage multiple priorities and projects, to take initiative, and to solve problems creatively and positively

Skills

Technical Skills

• 
  Minimum 5-6 years of PL/SQL, reporting services experience
• SQL Server Integration Services ( SSIS)
• SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS)
• Proficient in MS office tools
• Develop and execute database queries
• Data gathering, research and analytical abilities to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions
• Create visualizations and reports that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations

• Knowledge of Power BI development a plus

Process Specific Skills

Business Domain – Insurance (Preferred)

• P&C Insurance domain understanding / past working experience
• Understanding of Subrogation process will be an add on
• Ability to comprehend the business processes and associated Application functionality by reviewing code and consulting with the operations teams
