Job Description

Job Purpose

• Processes various types of accounting transactions o Prepares basic financial reports and review accounts for accuracy and compliance to standards and procedures

• Books transactions in Accounting/ ERP system o Compiles data, initiates and processes financial reports o Ensures compliance with controls around the invoice accounting processes and support audits (internal and/or external) o Participates in the automation of processes related to his/her area of work o May initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts o May ensure correct interface integration Specific AP: o Generates payment run o Justifies and documents AP accounts: reviews open purchase orders, open receipts, and unapproved invoices o Controls travel & expenses and proceeds to payment Specific AR: o Generates client invoices of medium to high complexity o Supports the Credit Analyst to facilitate collection of aged invoices as required o Performs first follow up action toward client accounting department

You are meant for this job if:

• Secondary school /High school diploma, preferably degree in Accounting or equivalent o 3 to 5 years of experience o Knowledge of accounting systems o Knowledge of Accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes o Fluent in English o Detail oriented
