Test Analyst is responsible for testing deployment of changes in UAT environment and provide confirmation to migrate changes to production system on scheduled timeline to ensure payroll disbursements are as expected. Assist team in testing payroll interfaces to downstream systems. Research and highlight basic payroll, pay deposit or reporting issues on time to respective team. He / She may perform liaison with external vendors for testing activities where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining test functions.
  • Preparing test reports.
  • Developing and implementing documented test cases.
  • Working closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to report defects when required.
  • Work with the development and user experience team, to ensure that the functional behavior is understood.
  • Report defects to the required standard to the test lead and raise them using standard defect tracking tools.
  • Provide test summary reports.
  • Understand the goals and real-world application of the test strategy.
  • Monitoring test performance and producing statistical reports.
  • Functional and regression testing.
  • Design test scenarios based on project documentation.
  • Understand the context of a User Story amongst existing Admiral system functionality.
  • Improving quality of software products through the testing approach.
  • Design and develop automated test scripts.
  • Produce documented results.
  • Support GL posting for HR/Payroll Project
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience software testing in a commercial environment.
  • An understanding of Testing Methodology and processes with working experience in Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge in E2E Payroll testing.
  • Any Test Professional Qualifications (Certification) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in SAP/Workday/EV5 (Mainframe)
  • The ability to interact appropriately with in-house team, vendor personnel and fellow team members.
  • Strong knowledge of defect management process.
  • User acceptance testing, scripting, test execution.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to express your ideas clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • Working in complex and regulated environments
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with automation would highly advantageous.
