The Lead Analyst - SEO is responsible for driving enterprise-level SEO strategy, execution excellence, and analytics-led decision-making to accelerate organic growth across our digital site operations. This role leads complex SEO initiatives across content, technical SEO, and automation while serving as a subject-matter expert and thought partner to business, product, and technology stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SEO initiatives across on-page, technical, and content optimization to drive sustainable organic growth
Analyze industry trends, algorithm updates, user behavior, and competitive landscape to define best practices and strategic opportunities
Own advanced keyword research frameworks and search intent mapping to support enterprise content and product strategies
Guide optimization of site content, metadata, and technical elements using tools such as SEMrush, Botify, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and other SEO tools
Partner with Product, Content, Engineering, Marketing, and Site Operations teams to ensure SEO requirements are embedded into roadmaps and execution plans
Monitor and interpret traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversion performance using Adobe Analytics
Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards, datasets, and insights for Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) decks.
Define SEO success metrics and measurement strategies (quantitative and qualitative), including benchmarking and experimentation frameworks
Drive automation, tooling enhancements, and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of SEO operations
Provide thought leadership and mentorship to analysts, reviewing work quality and guiding analytical rigor
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making across leadership and cross-functional teams
Years of Experience:
5+ years of experience in SEO, and digital analytics
3+ years of experience in online retail, e-commerce, or large-scale digital platforms
Proven experience leading or owning enterprise SEO initiatives end-to-end
List the education, certification, work experience and skills required to minimally qualify an individual for the job.
Bachelors Degree (B.Tech Preferred)*
Primary Skills (must have)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Hands-on expertise with 2 or more SEO platforms (SEMRush, SEOclarity, Botify, Ahrefs)
Advanced experience with Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics
