The individual will work with the logistics team globally to identify savings opportunties, drive support for sourcing strategies and lead analytics team delivering support to optimize logistics cost. This position requires communication skills, collaboration, a natural orientation to process analysis and optimization, expertise of logistics processes and systems, experience with data analysis and operational reporting, and experience in leading and motivating teams. Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Procurement logistics data analyst to join our team. As the Lead Procurement Logistics Data Analyst, you will be responsible for driving logistics optimization and cost savings initiatives through data analysis, network modeling, carrier management, and process improvements. You will also be responsible for supporting our procurement logistics teams through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. Should also have experience of leading, coaching as well as mentoring team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics analytics strategies to optimize costs, service levels, and capacity utilization across multiple modes of transportation (air, ocean, road, rail)
  • Conduct data analysis and network modeling to identify optimization opportunities and cost savings initiatives across the logistics network, with demonstrated experience analyzing logistics costs with operational constraints to optimize carrier selection.
  • Support procurement logistics teams with data-driven insights and recommendations for optimizing transportation and distribution networks, with at least 3 years\' experience in logistics analytics and/or logistics operations supporting a variety of modes (LTL, TL, Ocean Freight, etc\xe2\x80\xa6).
  • Develop and manage logistics analytics budgets and forecasts, and track performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment on logistics analytics strategy and goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics analytics, and apply knowledge to drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
  • Manage a team of logistics analysts, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to drive high performance with experience in leading people and motivating teams.
  • Develop and maintain logistics analytics dashboards and reports, using expert knowledge in modern logistics tools such as Jaggaer, Transporean, Killvar, etc.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in logistics operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree (preferred Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Analytics, or a related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in global logistics analytics or logistics operations, with a focus on transportation and network optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data analysis and modeling tools.
  • Experience managing logistics analytics projects and driving results through others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex logistics analytics concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Proficient in any one of the analytics/logistics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Jaggaer, Transporean or any external logistics tools) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
