MDG Full Stack Developer

What you will do
Kenvue GCC located in Bengaluru, India is recruiting for an SAP MDG Full Stack developer. The Digital Platform Transformation Program is a critical component of the Consumer Health strategy to become a digital first company. Consumer Health is investing significantly to transform the core ERP and MDG landscape through the implementation of a single global instance of SAPs MDG platform based on S4 Hana. This will unlock significant value and establish the best of breed foundation for Digital Core based on S4 technology.
The applicant is encouraged to have a strong background in core MDG Application. A thorough hands-on knowledge in OO ABAP, BRF+, MDG Workflows, CAP/RAP/APIs, handling extensions (Classic / In-App / Side by Side), FIORI apps, BTP, FIORI elements, OData services, CDS views in MDG is required.
In addition to collaborating with the application architecture team & consulting partners, this role will be responsible for the solution design & build and for driving harmonized solutions across various Master Data modules such as Material Master, Business Partner (Customer and Supplier) and Finance Master Data. This will also involve assessing new BUILD initiatives, ensuring that standard methodologies are followed in the BUILD process while adhering to the Development strategy & standards.

• Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills.

• Work across multiple Scrum Teams to define and deliver innovative development solutions
• Accountable for code quality & technical documentation
• Build an environment for developing innovative solutions with a strong emphasis on automating work where possible

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science
• 6+ years of experience in Information Technology field, with at least 5 years of experience in Application Development in SAP MDG
• Implementation experience in SAP MDG based on S/4 HANA (Greenfield or Brownfield)
• Detailed experience in ABAP CDS views with UI5 annotations, OData, REST/JSON, XML (including debugging)
• Experience in CDS Frameworks using ABAP PROGRAMMING MODEL FOR SAP FIORI (CAP-Cloud Application & RAP)
• MDG Data Replication Framework and Integration with ERP using BAPI, RFC, IDOC, WSDL, PI Proxies and OData REST APIs
• Good knowledge of ABAP 7.x coding standards and using ABAP Development Tools.
• Hands-on development experience of RICEF objects in both ABAP on HANA and Core ABAP
• Knowledge of BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots
• Hands on experience of tools like Business Rules Framework (BRF+), Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP HANA Studio (Eclipse) & GIT.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience across various tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA & knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge of AIF, Flexible Workflows
• Any SAP Certifications & trainings
• Experience in business process flows across the various MDG Master Data Areas such as Material Master, Business Partner (Supplier and Customer), Finance Master data
