Job Summary:

As a Lead Analog Engineer at

Discrete Circuits Pvt. Ltd

., you will be responsible for the design,

simulations, development, and testing of analog and mixed-signal circuits. This role requires a deep understanding of analog electronics, circuit design, and signal processing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of new products and improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for medical devices.

Design sensor conditioning circuits, including amplifiers, filters, instrumentation amplifiers, and isolation circuits.

Work with ADC/DAC modules, ensuring high signal integrity, accuracy, and low noise.

Ensure compliance with medical device standards, including IEC 60601, EMC/EMI requirements, creepage and clearance, leakage limits, and electrical safety.

Conduct circuit simulation using SPICE-based tools (LTSpice, PSpice, Cadence).

Oversee schematic design, PCB reviews, and component selection for high reliability.

Perform verification, validation, and testing of analog circuits using lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, LCR meter, etc.).

Support cross-functional teams (embedded, power electronics, mechanical, quality) in system-level integration.

Lead root cause analysis, debug field failures, and implement corrective actions.

Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and review work of junior engineers.

Prepare detailed documentation required for regulatory submissions and audits.

Technical Skills Required



Strong expertise in analog circuit design, low-noise design, and high-precision signal conditioning.

Experience with amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC interfaces, isolation techniques, and analog front-ends.

Understanding of EMC/EMI requirements, shielding, grounding, and noise mitigation.

Proficiency in simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice, Multisim, Cadence).

Experience designing circuits compliant with IEC 60601 safety and performance standards.

Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad) and layout considerations for analog integrity.

Working knowledge of microcontroller interfacing, digital electronics, and mixed-signal circuits.

Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and precision instruments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.

2. Strong expertise in designing analog and mixed-signal circuits.

3. Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) and CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.

4. Experience with signal integrity analysis and high-speed analog design is a plus.

5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to analog electronics.

6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
