Role Purpose

Job Title: Network Engineer (L3) - SD-WAN, SD-LAN, WiFi (Cisco & HPE Aruba)

Job Summary:

The

Network Engineer (L3)

will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network solutions, focusing on

SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi

technologies from

Cisco and HPE Aruba

. This role requires deep technical expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation:

Architect and deploy

SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi

solutions using

Cisco and HPE Aruba

technologies.

Configuration & Optimization:

Configure routers, switches, access points, and security policies to enhance network performance.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Provide

L3-level

support for complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Security & Compliance:

Implement security best practices, including

firewall policies, VPN configurations, and access control

.

Monitoring & Performance Management:

Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze traffic patterns and optimize performance.

Documentation & Training:

Maintain detailed network documentation and provide training to junior engineers.

Collaboration:

Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align network strategies with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in SD-WAN & SD-LAN:

Strong knowledge of

Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela, Meraki) and HPE Aruba EdgeConnect SD-Branch

.

WiFi Networking:

Experience with

Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), HPE Aruba Instant APs, and WiFi optimization

.

Routing & Switching:

Advanced knowledge of

Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and ArubaOS

.

Security & VPN:

Familiarity with

firewalls, VPNs, and network access control (NAC)

.

Network Monitoring Tools:

Experience with

Cisco Prime, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, or similar platforms

.

Certifications (Preferred):

+ Cisco:

CCNP Enterprise, CCIE (Networking, Wireless, Security)

+ HPE Aruba:

ACMP, ACCP, ACDX

+ SD-WAN:

Cisco SD-WAN Specialist, Aruba SD-Branch certifications

Experience:

5+ years

of experience in enterprise networking. Hands-on experience with

Cisco and HPE Aruba SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi solutions

. Proven ability to

troubleshoot complex network issues

at an L3 level
