Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Graphic Designer / Publishing Editor

with a strong background in

print and digital publishing

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing layouts for books, magazines, catalogues, and other publishing materials, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand/editorial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

:

Design and layout of print publications including books, magazines, journals, brochures, and catalogues. Work closely with editorial, content, and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality outputs. Edit and proofread layouts for consistency in style, font, formatting, and accuracy. Prepare files for offset printing, digital publishing, and e-book formats. Ensure adherence to publishing style guides and branding standards. Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and project archives. Coordinate with printers, typesetters, and other vendors for final output. Stay updated with publishing trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Publishing, Fine Arts, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in graphic design/editing within the publishing industry. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling. Knowledge of pre-press processes and file formats for print and digital. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Good communication and collaboration skills.
