As a result of our continued expansion, we are looking for a qualified lawyer with significant experience of working within American laws.
Review and quality-check contracts and legal documents drafted by junior team members, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
Negotiate and finalise complex international agreements, including client, supplier, and airline contracts.
Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on cross-jurisdictional commercial and regulatory matters.
Mentor and guide junior lawyers, offering feedback on drafting, negotiation strategy, and risk management.
Oversee legal processes and contract management systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies.
Escalate material risks or sensitive issues and support business stakeholders in balancing legal and commercial objectives.
Contribute to the development of legal playbooks, templates, and training to strengthen team capability.
Qualifications
Qualified US lawyer (or former US practising lawyer) with experience in the US legal and regulatory system.
Prior in-house experience essential
Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in a cross-jurisdictional or international context
* Experience in providing high-level legal advice, overseeing legal processes, and mentoring junior lawyers.
