About Continuum Media

Continuum Media is a global film, long-form TV/digital, and theatre content creator and producer. Apart from our specialized media, entertainment, and business advisory/consulting services practice, we have our own slate of motion picture, long-form TV/digital, and broadway projects in development currently, the first feature being a CIA true-life story based on a Pulitzer prize-winning journalist's novel and other epic TV/digital projects. Our first play, The Sound Inside, produced alongside Jeffrey Richards and John Hart opened on Broadway recently (October 2019) with the New York Times calling it - subliminal, sublime. About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in the ongoing litigation and legal matters related to film IP and attending courts when required
2. Preparing and filing a suit for copyright infringement and making a list of documents, and filing applications, replies, rejoiners and filing, clearing defects, etc. on an ongoing basis
3. Developing familiarity and assisting with film, TV, and digital legal contracts
4. Liaising between the company and the law firms that represent it in the US, India, and internationally
5. Attending courts for matters as and when required
6. Performing extensive legal research using legal databases
7. Organizing and drafting all litigation and legal research materials for the senior lawyers
8. Making notes during meetings and distributing them promptly
9. Organizing, analyzing, and tracking various film, TV, and theatre projects across the company's legal functions
10. Assisting in the legal aspects of various investment functions such as green-lighting projects, fundraising, and roadshows as and when required
11. Communicating with artists and business executives in a legal capacity in a professional and timely manner
12. Assisting in any other in-house legal functions
