Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry and Uniform Attendant with basic tailoring/stitching skills to join our team. This role is responsible for the efficient cleaning, pressing, and distribution of staff uniforms and F & B laundry, as well as performing minor repairs and alterations to uniforms and linens as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Laundry & Uniform Duties:

Sort laundry including uniforms, linens. Inspect garments and linens for damage or stains and take appropriate action. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area. Ensure all items are correctly labeled and returned to the appropriate departments or personnel. Maintain inventory of uniforms and report shortages to the supervisor. Issue and collect uniforms in accordance with company policies.
Stitching & Repair:

Perform minor stitching and alterations on uniforms and linens (e.g., hemming, button replacement, zipper repair, patching). Assist in sizing and fitting of uniforms for new staff members. Ensure all repaired garments meet quality standards before redistribution.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting. Basic sewing and tailoring skills (hand and machine stitching). Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate washing/repair techniques.

Skills & Competencies:

Good time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods. Basic inventory management knowledge is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
