Job Summary:

The Laundry Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily laundry operations, ensuring all washing, drying, ironing, folding, and finishing processes are carried out efficiently, hygienically, and as per company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily laundry activities, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding. Ensure proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment and chemicals. Allocate tasks to laundry staff and monitor performance. Check finished laundry for quality, cleanliness, and proper finishing. Maintain stock of detergents, chemicals, and linen inventory. Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards in the laundry area. Maintain records of laundry operations (inward/outward linen count, damaged items, etc.). Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance requirement promptly. Train new laundry helpers and attendants on process and safety procedures. Coordinate with housekeeping or client departments for timely delivery.

Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in laundry operations or supervision. Knowledge of industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Good communication and record-keeping skills. Understanding of fabric types, stain removal, and proper washing methods. Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Qualification:

12th Pass / Graduate preferred Diploma or certification in Laundry Operations / Hospitality Management (if applicable)

Work Schedule:

Rotational shifts (including weekends if required)

Salary:

As per company norms / experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
