Laundry Attendant

Create the experience before the guest has even arrived. As a Laundry Attendant, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and that our guests Feel Welcome from the minute they step into their room.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Ensure all completed laundry/dry cleaning/pressing and related items are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding of clothing and other textile items.
• Ensure all job assignments are accurately recorded in the respective logbooks.
• Monitor levels in chemical containers to ensure chemicals are being dispensed, and notify the supervisor accordingly.
• Document and escalate any variances/maintenance and purchase requests to the supervisor.
• Maintain the whole laundry area clean and tidy at all times.
• Responsibly maintain and store all equipment and cleaning tools. (Vacuum cleaner, brooms, dustpan, mops, chemicals etc.)
• Communicate effectively with all laundry personnel and all other departments.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role in a 5 star hotel.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
