Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and count laundry items (e.g., linens, towels, uniforms) by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements. Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing or pressing equipment safely and efficiently. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals according to material type and company guidelines. Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear, and take necessary actions (e.g., stain treatment, repair tagging). Fold, stack, and store cleaned laundry items neatly in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment. Report maintenance issues with laundry machines or equipment promptly. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times. Deliver or distribute clean laundry items to proper storage rooms or departments (if applicable). Assist with inventory control by counting and recording laundry items as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning environment is an asset. Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and fabric care techniques. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry loads for extended periods. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a laundry facility or housekeeping area. Requires exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals. May involve shift work, weekends, and holidays depending on the operation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
