# Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lathe machines to fabricate metal components according to precise specifications.

Operating manual and CNC lathes to shape metal materials, including cutting, turning, and threading, based on blueprints and work orders.

Setup and Calibration:

Setting up and calibrating lathe machines, ensuring proper tooling and machine settings for optimal performance and accuracy.

Material Handling:

Safely handling and positioning metal materials into the lathe machine, including loading and unloading parts.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and overall quality, using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Performing routine maintenance on lathe machines, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
