We are looking for a skilled Lathe Machine Turner to operate and maintain conventional lathe machines for producing precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machining operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality and production targets.
Operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, boring, and drilling operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and technical specifications
Set up workpieces, tools, and machine parameters accurately
Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operations
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper lubrication and cleanliness
Identify defects or deviations and take corrective actions
Maintain production records and follow safety and quality standards
