Job Description

A Profile Roll Forming Machine operator, also known as a tool room technician, performs a variety of tasks related to operating machines in a tool room, including:

Manufacturing and assembling

: Making tools and dies, and fitting them at the customer's end

Preparing

: Setting up the machine, auxiliary apparatus, and metal work pieces

Reading

: Interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders

Operating

: Using manual and Profile operated machines and tools

Measuring

: Using measuring gauges

Inspecting

: Inspecting used dies and tooling to determine stocking rates

Maintaining

: Maintaining inventory of raw materials and tools, and reordering outsourced tooling

Troubleshooting

: Diagnosing and addressing any issues with tools or machines

Modifying

: Modifying production tooling and dies as required

Creating

: Creating purchase orders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
