Designation - Lathe Machine operator (Turner) No of position - 01 Experience - 3 to 4 year Qualifications: o ITI certification in Turner or relevant discipline o Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role o Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings o Strong mechanical aptitude o Attention to detail and precision o Good understanding of safety procedures Skills: Lathe operation, Machining, Technical drawing interpretation, Machine maintenance, Precision measurement, Safety compliance, Problem-solving Key responsibilities: o Operating Lathes: Using lathes to create cylindrical shapes, cut threads, and perform other turning operations. o Setting Up Machines: Preparing lathes and other turning machines for specific tasks, including selecting appropriate cutting tools and setting machine parameters. o Reading and Interpreting Drawings: Understanding and following engineering drawings to ensure accurate part dimensions and specifications. o Quality Control: Measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. o Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on lathes and other turning equipment. o Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the turning process. o Collaboration: Working with engineers, designers, and other production personnel to achieve project goals.
