Serving as the primary point of contact, explaining LASIK and other procedure options (e.g., cataract, retina) to patients, reviewing pricing, and ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with their choices.
Scheduling surgeries, coordinating appointments and follow-ups, and managing the patient journey through the clinical pathway.
Maintaining accurate patient medical records, test reports, and histories. This can also include managing inventory and appointment tracking.
Acting as a link between patients, eye care providers, and referring physicians to enhance the overall patient experience.
Assisting eye care professionals in conducting initial vision tests and diagnostic testing, preparing patients for examinations, and educating them on post-treatment care and medication usage.
Building trust with patients and helping to overcome objections or concerns, which often involves driving successful procedure conversions.
General Requirements
Prior experience in an ophthalmology or eye hospital setup.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and clinical operations.
The ability to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
