Laser Cutting Operator

To operate CNC

Laser Cutting Machines

for accurate cutting of MS, SS, and alloy steel plates as per drawings, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC laser cutting machine (Fiber / CO?) Read and interpret

engineering drawings & nesting files

Load/unload sheets safely using crane/forklift Set machine parameters: power, speed, gas pressure Monitor cutting quality, edge finish, kerf accuracy Perform daily machine checks & routine maintenance Ensure proper material identification and traceability Minimize material wastage & optimize cutting time Follow safety standards (PPE, fire & laser safety) Record production data, rejection & downtime Coordinate with programming, QC & production teams
Machine & Material Handling

Fiber laser / CO? laser machines Materials: MS, SS, aluminum, alloy steel Thickness: As per machine capacity
Skills & Competencies

Basic CNC knowledge Understanding of nesting & G-code (basic) Drawing reading Quality awareness Safety discipline
Qualification

ITI / Diploma (Fitter / Machinist / Turner) preferred Freshers can apply (training will be provided)
Experience

0-5 years in laser cutting (fabrication shop experience preferred)
Working Conditions

Day / Night shifts Shop-floor environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
