Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of sheet metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality inspection to meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting paths and dimensions. Conduct quality inspections of finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to ensure adherence to specifications. Assemble components as required, utilizing knowledge of machining techniques. Maintain equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Safely operate a press brake machine and crane as needed during the manufacturing process.

Skills

Proficiency in operating laser cutting machines with a focus on precision and quality. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. Familiarity with hand tools and machining processes relevant to sheet metal fabrication. Knowledge of assembly techniques for various components. Ability to operate a press brake machine safely and effectively. Experience in using cranes for material handling within a manufacturing environment.
