Load programs, materials (metal sheets, wood), and fixtures.
Set parameters (power, speed, focus) for different materials and thicknesses.
Operate the machine to cut, engrave, or etch parts as per technical drawings/blueprints (CAD).
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, edge quality, and dimensions.
Perform first-article and in-process quality checks.
Detect and report defective materials or production issues.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning lenses, checking coolant).
Troubleshoot malfunctions and make minor repairs or adjustments.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to strict workplace safety rules and use required PPE.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Documentation & Collaboration:
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Work with engineers and supervisors to meet project specifications.
Essential Skills:
Ability to read blueprints/CAD.
Precision measurement skills (calipers, micrometers).
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Strong understanding of materials and metalworking principles
