Job Summary: Laser Machine Operator

The Laser Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting or engraving machines to produce high-quality parts and products according to technical drawings and specifications. This role involves interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, adjusting machine settings, inspecting finished products for accuracy, and ensuring efficient production flow. The operator must follow safety protocols, perform routine maintenance, and work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet quality and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate laser cutting/engraving machines (e.g., CO?, fiber, or YAG lasers). Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and job orders. Select materials and adjust machine settings for optimal cutting performance. Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and finish. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues. Maintain production records and ensure adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
