Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support our purchasing and vendor management activities. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing quality materials, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth procurement operations aligned with company policies and budget guidelines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Vendor Management

? Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.

? Maintain and update a database of approved vendors.

? Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, product samples, and specifications.

Procurement Support

? Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders (POs) and obtaining necessary approvals.

? Compare quotations based on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

? Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and favorable terms (under supervision)

Inventory Coordination

? Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse or inventory teams.

? Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to prevent stockouts.

Documentation & Compliance

? Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

? Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, procedures, and budget constraints.

Coordination & Communication

? Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, production, etc.) to understand purchasing requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Aerospace are the first preference. Else Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

? Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.

? Strong communication and negotiation skills.

? Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.

? Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.

? Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

0 - 1 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations (internships or projects can be considered).

Knowledge of vendor evaluation techniques and procurement software is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
