Job Description

Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using

PHP (Laravel) and MySQL

. Design, implement, and optimize

RESTful APIs

to power seamless integrations with frontend and mobile platforms. Enhance system performance through

robust query optimization, caching mechanisms, and scalability strategies

. Hands-on development, feasibility assessment, data massaging, and rigorous sanity testing for

3rd-party content, booking, and availability service API integrations.

Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through robust error-handling and debugging practices. Implement secure, best-practice methodologies for

user authentication, data protection, and system integrity

. Maintain clear, concise, and professional documentation of code and processes.

Requirements

:

4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development

with a strong focus on Laravel and MySQL. BTech / MTech in Computer Science or related fields is mandatory. Deep expertise in crafting and consuming RESTful APIs, with an eye for performance and scalability. Advanced understanding of database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling. Proven experience in integrating and validating large-scale 3rd-party APIs, with strong skills in data structuring, error handling, and testing for reliability and performance. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines). Strong foundation in backend performance tuning, load balancing, and server-side caching techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex systems and deliver scalable solutions. A team player who thrives in Agile/Scrum environments, consistently meeting tight deadlines. Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
