Job Description

Laravel developer is responsible for designing and developing web applications using Laravel as well as other programming languages like PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The Laravel developer will work in a team of developers, collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel PHP framework
- Participate in Agile software development process including planning, grooming, and sprint review meetings
- Write high-quality code that follows industry-standard coding practices and guidelines
- Conduct code reviews and participate in code merging and maintenance
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to build, test and deploy high-quality web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug code-based issues
- Responsible for writing technical documentation of code design and infrastructure

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Laravel developer or similar role for at least 1+ years
- Experience with PHP & PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as VueJS, ReactJS, or AngularJS
- Experience working with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of REST API development and integration
- Understanding of version control tools like Git or SVN
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Agile project management methodology
- Knowledge of AWS / cloud services
- Network, system, and server administration skills
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, etc.
