About the Role:

Are you someone who loves tinkering with gadgets, testing out new tech, and figuring out how things work? We're looking for a

Tech Enthusiast

to join our team as a

Junior Device Tester

, focused on

laptops, Steam Decks, ROG Ally

, and other cutting-edge gaming/tech hardware.

This is a hands-on role ideal for freshers with a passion for tech. You don't need a degree or years of experience - just basic know-how, eagerness to learn, and comfort with using basic tools and software for device testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic

quality checks

on laptops, handheld consoles like

Steam Deck

and

ROG Ally,

etc. Install and run

testing tools/software

to verify hardware functionality (CPU, RAM, storage, display, battery, etc.) Check for physical issues (e.g., keyboard, ports, screen, buttons) Validate that the

OS and drivers are correctly installed and functional

Report and log hardware or performance issues in a simple checklist/report format Coordinate with the tech team for device troubleshooting or re-testing Handle devices with care and follow safety protocols

Who We're Looking For:

Completed

HSC / 12th grade

or equivalent - no higher degree required Basic knowledge of computers, laptops, and gaming devices Comfortable with installing/testing apps and tools on Windows/Linux Ability to identify basic hardware functions (RAM, SSD, CPU, GPU, etc.) Someone who keeps up with the latest in tech and gaming gear Detail-oriented, responsible, and loves working hands-on with devices

Bonus Points If You:

Have tested or used a Steam Deck or ROG Ally before Have built or customized your own PC or laptop Follow tech YouTube channels, Reddit tech threads, or product forums Have some exposure to using benchmark/testing tools like CrystalDisk, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, HWMonitor, etc.
