Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Marathi Language Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Marathi language, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the language. The teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for the Marathi language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Marathi lessons as per the ICSE/CBSE/State Board curriculum

Teach grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing skills, and spoken Marathi

Encourage reading and appreciation of Marathi literature and poetry

Use interactive teaching methods, audiovisual aids, and technology to enhance learning

Evaluate and assess students through tests, projects, and oral/written assignments

Maintain student records and provide feedback to parents during PTMs

Prepare students for language exams and interschool competitions

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs

Collaborate with other language and subject teachers for integrated learning

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marathi, Literature, or Education (B.A./B.Ed. preferred)

Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience (freshers with strong language skills may also apply)

Excellent knowledge of Marathi grammar and literature

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to teach students of various age groups (Primary/Secondary)

Familiarity with digital tools like smartboards, Google Classroom, or MS Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Marathi or Education (M.A./M.Ed.)

Experience in ICSE/CBSE curriculum

Creative approach to teaching with storytelling, drama, and poetry recitation

Knowledge of lesson planning and assessment strategies.
