Language Quality Manager

The Role:
The Sr Language Quality Manager will work alongside with the Language Quality Lead and manager, as well as Language Services (HWW-LS) account and project management teams, team leaders and senior management to ensure that the Language Quality Management System is integrated in the company's culture. The Sr Language Quality Manager will be part of the overall development, implementation and maintenance of HWW-LS' Quality Management System (QMS).  
Requirements:
Lead language quality management team to execute global language services strategy and to support global language delivery
Assist the Language QA team in the maintenance, governance and internal control and promotion of the QMS
Establish and enhance the department's quality procedures, standards and specifications especially in AI translation and transcreation
Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes and workflows, especially those that impact the quality of the department's language work
Monitor and measure language delivery performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
Lead internal audits and prepare/support external audits when required
Identify any areas of weakness/root causes and recommend and implement improvement plans
Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of changes made
Work with clients as well as external suppliers when required
Use relevant quality tools and metrics and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the service offering of HWW-LS
Support team leaders & managers (when required) in conducting the CAPA procedure
Design and deliver presentations and training as required based on quality improvement plans  
Experience :
Three-year degree or higher, preferably in a foreign language/or project/program management
Minimum 7 years' experience in the localisation industry
Proven experience as language quality manager
Considerable working experience of in ISO implementation and maintenance
Experience of service delivery in a QMS environment  
Knowledge :
In-depth understanding of language QA and LQA procedures and relevant legal standards
Excellent working knowledge of data analysis/statistical and reporting methods
Proficient in MS Office Suite  
Skills :
Proficient in communicating thoughts and observations in a logical and consistent manner
Able to manage own activities and priorities and work to deadlines
Process-orientated, conscientious and responsible
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Cool under pressure
