Editing the raw manuscript as per the instructions provided and make it error free.

Checking the styles, punctuations, and spellings and ensuring the customer provided stylesheet is followed.

Structuring and ordering of the files and raise author queries as required.

Short tagging as per XML requirements and tagging of the index entries.

References as per the style guide and footnotes, for technical accuracy and placement of citations.

Ensuring all the elements (figures, text, boxes, tables etc.) are properly presented in the manuscript and consistent.

Desired Candidate Profile

Should have good written and spoken knowledge in English.

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in style editing/pre-editing.

Knowledge in style guides such as CMS and APA are preferred.

Must have an eye for details.

Candidate from Books/Journals background is preferred.

Experience in STM/Fiction/Non-fiction books are an added advantage.

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
