Opportunity - the 'what'
You will:
Oversee language data support services for creation, editing, and development of Indian language lexical content.
Manage editorial services to ensure content meets publishing and licensing standards.
Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Customer Success, Delivery) and external collaborators (freelancers, contractors).
Recommend improvements to licensed content and optimize use of resources and technology.
Ensure contributors follow best practices and maintain quality, timelines, and budget.
Lead training programs for freelance and contractual staff.
Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to product development.
Your impact will be felt across Oxford Languages' publishing and licensing activities, helping deliver consistent, high-quality content that meets global standards.
About You

Essential Criteria
Degree-level experience or proven competency in another language.
In-depth knowledge of language data and editorial support services.
Experience working with content in languages other than English.
Proven ability to manage freelancers, vendors, and international teams.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn new technologies.
Planning, scheduling, and documentation skills.
Desirable Criteria
High competence in at least one additional language.
Experience in dictionary or language editorial services.
Familiarity with modern lexicographic methods.
Skills in data handling and structured databases.
