Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Horticulture and Landscaping Specialist to oversee the maintenance and development of our gardens, landscapes, and grounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and beauty of our plants, trees, and flowers, as well as designing and implementing new landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Horticulture

1. Plant Care: Maintain the health and well-being of plants, trees, and flowers, including pruning, watering, and fertilizing.

2. Garden Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of gardens, including weeding, mulching, and composting.

3. Pest and Disease Management: Identify and control pests and diseases, using integrated pest management techniques.

4. Soil Management: Monitor and maintain soil health, including pH levels, nutrient levels, and soil structure.

Landscaping

1. Landscape Design: Design and implement new landscaping projects, including gardens, walkways, and outdoor living spaces.

2. Landscape Maintenance: Maintain existing landscapes, including mowing, edging, and trimming.

3. Hardscaping: Install and maintain hardscaping features, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

4. Irrigation Management: Design, install, and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water use.

Other Responsibilities

1. Team Collaboration: Work with other farm house staff, including gardeners, groundskeepers, and maintenance personnel.

2. Budgeting and Planning: Assist with budgeting and planning for horticulture and landscaping projects.

3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including pesticide use and equipment operation.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in horticulture and landscaping, preferably in a farm house or similar setting.

3. Skills: Excellent knowledge of plants, trees, and flowers, as well as landscaping design and maintenance principles.

4. Certifications: Certification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
