Degree in Architecture, Landscape Designing, Exterior Designing.
Ability to manage contractor and gardening staff on Landscape Design projects, give instructions and get work done
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, maintain schedule and manage projects varying from time to time
Should be willing to travel within the city to monitor projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
Establishing general landscape requirements with clients;
Conducting preliminary inspection of the site and assessing a site s potential to meet the client s specifications;
Accurately preparing and presenting detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software;
Creating and presenting design proposals to clients, dealing with enquiries and negotiating any amendments to the final design
Matching the clients wishes with your knowledge of what will work best
Contacting and coordinating manufacturers and suppliers for Landscaping work and garden accessories.
Making site visits;
Ensuring deadlines are met;
Liaising with other professionals on the project;
Monitoring and checking work on-site
Attending public inquiries to give evidence if necessary;
Generating new business opportunities.
Supervises and directs grounds personnel by establishing schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring and reviewing projects to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
