Responsibilities for Landscape Designer
Meet with clients and vendors to explain project goals
Efficiently create uniquely desirable, artistic and inspirational landscape designs.
Prepare site plans, specifications and estimates, assist in material selection
Use CAD to develop graphic representation of project
Develop vendor relationships to achieve pricing goals
Select materials based on client desire, budget and climate parameters
Conduct on-site inspections to assure adherence to final plan
Effectively uncover client needs and provide compelling solutions.
Thoroughly perform site inventories.
Accurately prepare construction drawings and takeoffs.
Demonstrate and maintain a high knowledge of landscape trends, features and techniques Qualifications for Landscape Designer
Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, required
Must be creative and resourceful to fulfill customer needs within budget and climate parameters
6 to 1.5 year of experience in a similar role
Should have material selection and stakeholder management
Experience with 3ds Max and VRay expert. Knowledge of SketchUp and Lumion is an add-on
Excellent analytical skills
Proficient with computer aided design and drafting
