Landscape Architect

Location - Jogeshwari, Mumbai

Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary)
To conceptualize, design, and execute landscape projects by integrating creativity, sustainability, and

technical expertise, ensuring delivery of high-quality landscape solutions that meet client expectations

and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

2. Understand client needs and provide design clarifications and timely updates.

3. Present design concepts, drawings, and material selections to clients.

4. Manage client expectations regarding landscape design, functionality, cost, and timelines.

Innovation / Creativity:
1. Translate project briefs into creative, functional, and sustainable landscape concepts.

2. Research materials, planting methods, and global landscape trends.

3. Encourage and implement innovative design approaches within the team.

4. Ensure landscape designs are feasible with respect to cost, timelines, site conditions, and

material availability.

Project Execution:
1. Prepare and review landscape design drawings, layouts, sections, and planting plans.

2. Develop detailed working drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp,

Photoshop, and other design software.

3. Prepare BOQs, specifications, and tender documents for landscape works.

4. Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP teams for integration of landscape elements.

5. Conduct site visits to ensure landscape execution aligns with approved designs.

6. Resolve technical queries arising at site and support execution teams.

7. Monitor project schedules and ensure timely design deliverables.

Process Orientation:
1. Comply with all internal design and documentation SOPs.

2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawing registers and design submissions.

3. Maintain proper documentation in coordination with project and document control teams.

4. Track design changes and ensure version control.

People Management:
1. Guide and supervise junior landscape architects and interns.

2. Review team performance and provide timely feedback.

3. Foster creativity, collaboration, and high productivity within the team.

4. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams--design, project, production, and site.

Support:
1. Provide design support to business development and marketing teams.

2. Prepare content for presentations, brochures, and exhibitions.

3. Participate in industry events, seminars, and design conferences as required.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

Educational Qualification
? UG: B.Arch / B.Plan / BLA - Landscape Architecture (Required)

? PG: M.Landscape Architecture (Preferred)

Additional Qualifications / certifications
? AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, Revit (preferred)

? Knowledge of planting design and irrigation systems

Other skills (preferred)
? Strong design and visualization skills

? Excellent communication and presentation abilities

? Understanding of sustainable and environmental design practices

? Attention to detail and strong project coordination skills

Prior experience

? 3 to 8 years of experience in landscape design and execution

? Experience in mixed-use, residential, commercial, or urban landscape projects

? Ability to handle clients and consultants independently
