Job Summary:

The

Land Surveyor - Total Station

is responsible for conducting accurate land and site surveys using total station equipment to support project planning, layout, and execution. The role ensures precise measurement, leveling, and alignment for various stages of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

land and topographical surveys

using

Total Station (Leica, Sokkia, Trimble, etc.)

and other surveying instruments. Establish

control points, benchmarks, and site boundaries

as per project requirements. Prepare and interpret

survey maps, site plans, and contour drawings.

Perform

layout marking

for foundations, columns, roads, drainage, and other structural elements. Verify

horizontal and vertical alignments, levels, and dimensions

on site. Collect, record, and process

survey data and coordinates

for project documentation. Ensure

accuracy of measurements

and report any deviations to the Project Engineer or Site In-Charge. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and contractors to maintain layout precision. Maintain and calibrate

survey instruments and Total Station equipment

regularly. Prepare

daily and weekly reports

of survey activities. Ensure adherence to

safety procedures

and maintain organized records of all survey work.

Employer Requirements:Education:

Diploma / ITI / Degree in

Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geomatics.

Certified training in

Total Station operations

preferred.

Experience:

3-8 years

of experience in

land surveying

for

residential, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

Hands-on experience with

Total Station equipment

and

AutoCAD / GIS software.

Technical & Functional Skills:

Proficiency in

Total Station operation

,

leveling instruments

, and

GPS surveying tools.

Knowledge of

AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Excel

for survey data analysis and plotting. Understanding of

surveying principles, leveling, and coordinate systems.

Ability to read and interpret

architectural and structural drawings.

Strong

mathematical and analytical

abilities.

Behavioral Skills:

Detail-oriented and precise in measurements. Good teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work independently on field assignments. Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor fieldwork.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
