Job Description

ITI / Diploma - Civil / Land Survey with 1-3 years working experience.

Technical knowledge required -Auto Level, AutoCAD, MS Office, Internet, Google Earth

Responsible for Field & Topographical Survey in construction area, Layout, measure land features, such as depth and shape, based on reference points. Conduct basic calculations using field note data.

Examine previous land records to verify data from on-site surveys. Preparation of maps and reports, and present results to clients. Making route alignment. Preparing CAD drawing, plan, section and reports of site.

Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. Making monthly progress reports & documentation.

Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.

Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth's surface for engineering, mapmaking, mining, land evaluation, construction, and other purposes.

Adjust surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy. Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS) & DGPS.

Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps. Site supervisor jobs are also included.
