Job Description

The Surveyor is responsible for conducting land and construction surveys to determine accurate measurements, levels, and coordinates required for project planning and execution. The role ensures precision in layout marking, boundary setting, and checking alignment as per drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:1. Survey & Measurement Work

Conduct land surveys using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments. Prepare accurate layout markings for foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements. Verify levels, alignments, and measurements during all stages of construction.

2. Data Recording & Reporting

Record survey data, measurements, and site coordinates properly. Prepare survey reports, measurement logs, and site sketches. Submit daily/weekly reports to engineers and project managers.

3. Coordination & Support

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors, and Supervisors for layout and rechecking. Assist in resolving measurement-related issues or discrepancies at the site. Ensure smooth communication between field work and office documentation.

4. Equipment Handling & Maintenance

Maintain surveying instruments in good condition and ensure daily calibration. Keep a record of instrument usage and report defects immediately.

5. Quality & Compliance

Ensure all survey work is aligned with approved drawings and project specifications. Follow safety standards and maintain safe survey operations at the site.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI in Surveying or related field. 4-7 years of experience as a Surveyor in construction projects. Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS. Knowledge of site drawings, coordinates, and leveling principles. Strong mathematical, analytical, and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
