Roles and Responsibility - Land Surveyor
Determine and establish legal property boundaries.
Research legal land records, titles, and previous surveys.
Resolve disputes related to property lines.
Create maps and 3D models that show natural and man-made features of land.
Collect data on terrain, elevations, trees, buildings, and other surface features.
Set out reference points and markers to guide construction (roads, buildings, bridges, etc.).
Ensure that structures are built in the correct location and orientation.
Monitor construction progress and alignment.
Assist architects, engineers, and planners with site layout and planning.
Analyze land for potential use based on zoning, topography, and environmental impact.
Work with civil engineers to provide data for the design of infrastructure projects.
Support roadworks, pipelines, railways, dams, etc., with precise elevation and alignment measurements.
Prepare and sign legal documents such as survey plats and reports.
Provide expert testimony in court regarding boundary disputes or land claims.
Operate advanced surveying instruments like:
Total stations
GPS (Global Positioning Systems)
GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
Drones for aerial surveys
Process data using CAD and mapping software.
Ensure surveys comply with local and national laws, zoning regulations, and engineering standards.
Stay up to date with changes in surveying laws and practices.
Survey land for environmental impact assessments.
Conduct geodetic surveys to understand the curvature and shape of the Earth in large-scale projects.
Meet with clients to understand project requirements.
Manage timelines, budgets, and coordinate with other professionals (engineers, architects, legal teams).
- Ability to work in a 9.30 AM - 7.30 PM shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
