Job Title: Survey Officer (Land Surveyor)

Experience Required:

2 to 5 years

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct topographic and construction surveys using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other modern surveying instruments. Mark layout points for excavation, foundation, columns, slabs, roads, and utilities as per architectural and structural drawings. Maintain accurate survey records including benchmarks, coordinates, and control points. Verify survey work performed by subcontractors or third parties to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors for proper setting out of works. Conduct regular checks on levels and dimensions throughout the construction process. Prepare and update as-built drawings and contribute inputs for project progress reporting. Support boundary demarcation, area calculations, and resolve level-related site issues. Ensure that all surveying activities are conducted in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related survey tools. Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings. Good understanding of site execution workflows and setting out techniques. Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D for data plotting and as-built documentation. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to challenging site conditions.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of on-site survey experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction. Certification in Land Surveying is preferred but not mandatory.
