The Land Surveyor is responsible for accurate surveying, setting out, and level control for construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Gulf construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform site surveys, setting out, leveling, and alignment for buildings, roads, and infrastructure works
Establish benchmarks, control points, and reference lines as per project requirements
Carry out topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys
Operate and maintain Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related survey equipment
Verify dimensions, coordinates, and levels before and during construction activities
Coordinate closely with site engineers, consultants, and supervisors
Prepare and maintain survey reports, records, and as-built drawings
Ensure survey works comply with Gulf standards and project specifications
Identify and report discrepancies between drawings and site conditions
Support inspection and approval processes with consultants
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying / Civil Engineering
Minimum
3-5 years of construction experience
, with
at least 2-3 years in GCC countries
Strong experience in building and infrastructure projects
Proficiency in survey instruments (Leica, Topcon, Trimble - preferred)
Ability to read IFC drawings and coordinate with consultants
Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of Gulf construction practices and standards
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work independently under site conditions
