Maintain a neat and presentable reception area.
Coordinate with the service team regarding new arrivals and table status.
Record guest feedback and pass important comments to management.
3. Cashiering & Billing (As and when required)
Prepare accurate bills using POS/billing software.
Handle cash, UPI, cards, and digital payments without error.
Reconcile daily sales and submit closing reports to the manager/accounts.
Follow all SOPs for billing, voids, discounts, and complimentary orders.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Ensure polite and professional communication at all times.
Handle minor guest complaints or concerns and escalate major issues.
Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, or special menus.
5. Administrative & Support Duties
Maintain reservation sheets, and daily reports.
Assist in distributing menus, takeaway orders, and packaging coordination if required.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and grooming standards.
Manage the reservation book and walk-ins.
Provide information about menus, waiting time, and ongoing offers.
Escort guests to tables when required.
Answer phone calls professionally for reservations, delivery/takeaway queries, and general information.
