Job Description

The Lady PET will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. She will plan, organize, and conduct physical education programs and sports activities that align with the school's curriculum and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging physical education sessions for students. Conduct regular physical training, fitness drills, and sports coaching. Identify and nurture student talents for intra-school and inter-school competitions. Ensure discipline, safety, and participation of all students during activities. Maintain records of attendance, performance, and physical fitness assessments. Organize and coordinate annual sports day, athletic meets, and other physical events. Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and educate students on physical well-being. Inspect and maintain sports equipment and ensure the playground/sports area is safe and clean. Work collaboratively with other faculty members to promote team spirit and discipline. Ensure inclusivity in sports and encourage participation from all students, especially girls.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or Master's Degree (M.P.Ed). Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferred). Proficiency in organizing and coaching major games and athletics. Good communication skills in English and Tamil. Ability to motivate students and maintain discipline.
