DutiesWork with key stakeholders like Digital Product Owner, Solutions Architect and Product Development Team to design, develop, deliver, deploy, and support products in OT & Automation product portfolio.Work on understanding requirements, apply system development methodology to identify, analyze, design, build, configure, test, and deploy solutions of high complexityParticipates in evaluation and implementation of design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of applicationsSuggests and implements standard out of box solutions and frameworks to build robust and scalable solutionsStrong understanding of software development to draw out specifications for integrated solutionsFollows Agile software design methodology for software configuration and developmentProvides production support for products including all integrations and customizationsHelps others in the team to build technical capabilities and good software engineering practices.
RequiredHands on development experience using NI LabVIEW, TestStand - 5+ yearsArchitectural skills and experience to support the team with the emphasis on NI LabVIEW & TestStandWorking Knowledge on interfacing with NI Hardware, PLCs, CAN devicesImplement DevOps, TDD and Test Automation practicesSkilled at implementing appropriate design patterns, loosely coupled architecture and scalable applications - 2+ yearsExperience in performance tuning and scaling applications- 2+ yearsProficient in interpersonal communication, collaboration and building working relationshipsDemonstrates strong teamwork, mentoring and influencing skills to drive practices within teamStrong understanding of Agile and XP practices.
DesiredCertifications in LabVIEW and TestStand.Awareness of Communication Protocols like TCIP/IP, Modbus, UDS, Serial, Profibus, etc.Basic knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Quality Engineering DomainExperience in software test automation & Test Data Orchestration.Understanding for basics of JAVA, microservices and databases.Demonstrated learning agility and strong desire to innovate
EducationDegree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent) e.g. B.E. / BTech or equivalent.
