The American Accreditation Association (AAA) accredits testing, calibration, and medical laboratories to international standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189. We are seeking Assessors to evaluate laboratories against these standards. The role includes reviewing quality management systems, conducting onsite and remote assessments, preparing detailed reports, and guiding laboratories toward successful accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
Assess labs' quality management systems and technical competence.
Identify nonconformities and prepare detailed reports.
Review and verify corrective actions.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold impartiality.
Perform both onsite and remote assessments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5
years of experience
in testing, calibration, or medical labs.
Strong knowledge of
ISO/IEC 17025
and
ISO 15189
.
Completed assessor or lead auditor training to be conducted in September and October 2025.
Excellent audit, reporting, and communication skills.
